The worst-case scenario has occurred: hundreds of asylum seekers, who have been waiting for months in Pakistan with German admission promises to travel to Germany, were arrested and taken to deportation camps. For 210 people, help came too late. They have already been deported to Afghanistan – back into the hands of the Taliban. Despite the acute danger, the federal government has been delaying the admission of asylum seekers for months. The Berlin Administrative Court has now clearly confirmed in over 20 cases: admission promises are legally binding – and must be implemented immediately. Dobrindt, Wadephul, and others continue to take their time – risking lives in the process. Write to your local representatives and demand protection for these people before it’s too late!
